Pink & Kink makes statement pieces for people who have never once wanted to blend in.

Most clothing is built to apologize: to slim, to hide, to make you easier to overlook. We make the opposite. Pieces with shimmer, fringe, handwork, and movement built in, for the part of you that wants to take up space and enjoy the expression.

What We Believe

India makes some of the finest craft in the world. That craft deserves a louder life.

We design between California and India, and make in small runs with artisan partners across India. 

No basics. No beige. Indian craft, with nothing held back.

Our Craft

We work with artisans across India, in Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Kashmir. Each piece goes to the hands best suited to it. The maker is chosen by the technique the piece needs.

Fringe, chains, tassels, beadwork, and trims are placed to move with the body and catch light in motion, not just in a still photo.

A single piece can take 15 to 20 days to make, depending on how much craft it carries. 

Nothing here is printed on to fake the effect.

The Fabric

We pick cloth for how it moves and how it feels against skin: velvet with weight, satin and silk that catch light, organic cotton for pieces made to travel, fine net and shimmer for sheer pieces that change with the body underneath.

Before a piece ships, we check its drape, stretch, transparency, color, and feel, so what you see online is close to what arrives at your door.
